- General purpose TIG filler rods for welding stainless steel, primarily 309, 308 and 304. Ideal for construction work, pipe welding, boat building and automotive repairs. Can also weld using Oxy/Acetylene.
- Commonly used for welding dissimilar steels, joining mild steel or low alloy steel to stainless steel, also joining different stainless steel types.
- Low carbon content, improved resistance to oxidation and better weldability; Good atmospheric corrosion resistance, can overlay mild steel to improve resistance.
- Type: ER309L; Melting Point: 1400°C; Rod size available: 1.6mm, 2.4mm; Rod Length: 1m.
- Approx. quantity of rods in 5kg pack: 1.6mm = 325, 2.4mm = 140
