Does this have a counter if not how do you keep count?
إجابه: It doesn't have a counter but a black sharpie dot on the inner white ring where the white needle is works wonders. I just count as it goes round. -

Would it knit adult sized hats or children's?
إجابه: I have the 22 needle one and it makes preemie size hats or dolls hats on the round. But you can do flat panels and join or tubes and join to make whatever size you want. -

What type of items can you make with the 22 needle one? Does it come with a pattern? My nan struggles to knit now, so I'm thinking of buying 1 for her.
إجابه: I've made baby hats, bows, flowers, scarves and socks. I know you can make capes and blankets if you sew strips together and are ambitious. It comes with a very limited leaflet pattern. -

With the larger 40 pin machine, what is the width of the flat panel and circumference of the tube it knits?
إجابه: I haven't knitted a flat panel on it but the hats are child sized or good for ear warmers. The more rows you knit the bigger the hat will be. -

إجابه: You will have to manually cast off. It's not too hard, just a bit fiddly. -

إجابه: No. You're limited to 22 stitches. It knits in tubes or panels. -

What size is the wool provided with it?
إجابه: The wool provided is a thin not very good quality 4 ply. I have been using my machine with 4 ply DK double knit and also some slightly chunkier stuff. It knits up brilliantly. -

إجابه: Depends on wool and tension used, but I'd say about 15 inches / 40 cm. -

Would this work with fingering weight yarn?
إجابه: Yes, it will work with fingering weight yarn. However, you may have a very open stitch, so you may need to provide support as you turn off. -

Can I use chunky wool with it?
إجابه: Yes, it can handle chunky wool, but works best on the thinner end of chunky. It's better with double knit, works okay with 4 ply and Aran, and can handle chunky with slower progress. Make sure to pay attention to your tension.
