Soundcraft Mixers Notepad-8FX Editorial Review
Soundcraft Notepad-8FX Small-Format Analog Mixing console with USB I/O and Lexicon Effects is designed for recording and mixing needs in a compact format. Users praise its excellent sound quality, ease of use, and versatile connectivity, accommodating both instruments and microphones. Many find that the built-in Lexicon effects, including reverb and chorus, enhance their audio production, although some desire more control over the AUX and FX outputs during live performances. A few minor drawbacks include the phantom power being always on and the lack of clear USB connection instructions, which can be a hurdle for new users. Nevertheless, it remains a highly recommended mixer for those seeking good sound quality and functionality for small studios or podcasts.
