- Visbiome® is a high potency probiotic medical food intended for the dietary management of dysbiosis associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcerative colitis (UC) antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD), and ileal pouch management. Its proprietary eight-strain probiotic blend, the De Simone Formulation, has been the subject of over 100 clinical studies across 25 years of research. How to Take Visbiome: Visbiome Advanced GI Care packets can be mixed into 3-6 oz of cold water or any cold, non-carbonated beverage, blended into a smoothie, or mixed into foods such as yogurt or applesauce and consumed promptly. Take one to two packets daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. Adjustment of the intestinal flora can take a few days or weeks. It may take up to one month to colonize the gut to become optimally stable when consumed regularly. Allergen Information: Visbiome contains milk as certain milk components are used during fermentation. Trace amounts of milk may be present in the final product. Visbiome is lactose-free, with lactose not detectable in amounts greater than 50 parts per million (ppm). Active ingredients: L. acidophilus DSM24735, L. plantarum DSM24730, L. paracasei DSM24733, L. delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus DSM24734, S. thermophilus DSM24731, B. longum DSM24736, B. breve DSM24732, B. infantis DSM24737.
