Horror Editorial Review
The original Saw movie provides a dark, sinister storyline that is surprisingly engaging. While the later sequels may be known for their excessive gore, this first installment manages to balance violence and plot with expert precision. The 4K transfer enhances the experience, offering stunning visuals with the perfect balance of film grain and clarity. Despite some pacing issues and plot oddities, the ending will leave viewers completely surprised. Even those who typically only watch Rifftrax-endorsed films will find the original Saw worth watching on its own.
