Action & Adventure Editorial Review

**** The Project A Collection from 88 Films has garnered a positive reception among film enthusiasts, particularly fans of Jackie Chan and classic Hong Kong cinema. Praised for its exceptional production quality, the collection features both PROJECT A films with stunning new 4K restorations that eliminate previous issues like color inConsistencies and image blemishes. This level of detail elevates the viewing experience, allowing audiences to appreciate the films as they were meant to be seen. Reviewers are particularly excited about the inclusion of the extended Taiwanese cut of the original film, and they commend the multiple language options available, including the original theatrical audio, Dolby Atmos tracks, and English dubs. The incoming arsenal of special features—such as interviews with key figures from the films, audio commentaries, and a wealth of outtakes and behind-the-scenes content—enhances the value of the collection, making this release one that both new viewers and long-time fans would appreciate. The packaging itself is notable, featuring eye-catching artwork by Kung Fu Bob, a well-designed slipcase, and high-quality inserts. While some users have pointed out minor audio issues and a perceived lack of certain inclusions in alternative editions, the general sentiment is that this release stands out significantly within its genre. Overall, the Project A Collection is celebrated as a vital contribution to the preservation of film history, particularly for Jackie Chan's legacy, and is strongly recommended for those who cherish physical media and classic cinema. **
