Rocksett, 2 OZ is a thread locker that can withstand high temperatures. It is not suitable for mounting pistol sights or bonding stainless screws to ABS plastic. However, it can be used to permanently attach knobs on dutch ovens, as long as the knob and/or screw are not regularly exposed to water. It is recommended to soak the product in hot water to release it from barrel threads. The product should be stored in its original container at 5-30 degrees Celsius. The shelf life after opening is as long as the cap is put back on. Rocksett is not recommended for laying adhesive floor tiles on concrete and cannot be used to repair ceramic casserole handles. Proper application involves dropping it on and spreading it with a q-tip or applying a smooth swipe around the perimeter with the nozzle. Thin layers and sparing application work best. It is advised to replace the bottle if it has formed a crust on the bottom or is floating around.
