Assembly instructions could be better, but it is easy to put together. It is very attractive, well-made, and a piece of furniture that looks great in formal living rooms. Customers reported that it is sturdy, easy to adjust and comes at half the cost of similar products. It works well for soft pastels on 9x12 and 12x16 pastel paper with an 18x18 drawing board, but the bottom tray doesn't rise up far enough for stand-up painting on smaller canvases.
