Introductory & Beginning Editorial Review
The customer experience with "Introduction to Programming Using Visual Basic" largely revolves around its rental service rather than the content of the book itself. Many customers appreciated the option to rent the book instead of purchasing it, noting the high cost of educational materials and the limited use they often have once a class is complete. This flexibility allowed users to allocate their savings toward more pressing college expenses, which resonated well with students. While some users found the book beneficial for their courses, others expressed indifference towards the material or even a lack of engagement, particularly those who quickly realized programming wasn't their career path. Positive remarks often highlighted the book's good examples and glossary, appealing to those actively engaged in learning programming. However, not all feedback was glowing. A notable user mentioned dissatisfaction, feeling misled by the format—suggesting that instead of a standard textbook, it appeared to be a printed PDF, which they perceived as overpriced for what it was. Clarification inquiries about included materials also surfaced, demonstrating some buyers' concerns about comprehensiveness. Overall, while the rental option is widely appreciated, the reception of the book's content varies based on individual interest and experience with programming. **
