Robert Powell delivers an excellent performance as Jesus and the rest of the cast is just as good. The DVD set comes in the same full screen format as the 1980 version and the VHS version. The 40th Anniversary Edition also includes a great documentary of Robert Powell's trip to Jerusalem. The picture quality is superb and the entire series is highly recommended for the Christmas and Easter seasons.
