Sony Multipurpose ECMG1 Editorial Review
The Vlogger Shotgun Microphone ECM-G1 is compatible with Sony cameras such as the a6000, Zv E-10, and a7ii. While it is small and portable, it is also quite wobbly and may need an elastic band to stabilize it during use. Additionally, it appears to pick up a lot of background noise, which may make it unsuitable for use in noisy environments. Some customers found it to be less effective in improving sound quality compared to other microphones such as the Rode mic. As a result, some customers returned it and opted for other, more reliable options.
