The Belleville One Xero 500 boots are waterproof and perfect for winter use, as long as you do not wade through water taller than the boots. They are made from leather and have a Gore-Tex lining. The 590 model is more suitable for hot weather as it has no Gore-Tex lining and provides more breathability to your feet. The boots run true to size, although some customers have reported that they were approximately 1/2 size large, and some have stated that the toe box could be tight while the boots were too wide for a regular or wide size. There are no vent holes in these boots. In terms of after-sales, there is no option for a return, and there are reported issues of delays in refund. Some people were also unhappy with the distance between the eyelets compared to the original Marine standards, most likely causing difficulty in achieving the appropriate lacing pattern. Overall, Belleville One Xero 500 boots are very comfortable, long-lasting, and waterproof but require a break-in period. They would be perfect for outdoor activities during the colder months. However, the toe box could be too tight, and the boots too wide for some individuals, there are no vent holes, and there are delayed refunds.
