About This Item

Introducing the SparkFun Distance Sensor Breakout - 4 Meter, VL53L1X - Qwiic, the next generation ToF sensor module that provides highly accurate measurements at long ranges. With its compact size, this sensor breakout uses a VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) to emit an Infrared laser and precisely time the reflection to the target. All communication is done via I2C, making it a breeze to connect to other components using our convenient Qwiic system. No soldering is required, but we have also provided 0.1-spaced pins for those who prefer using a breadboard. The minimum read distance is as close as 4cm, ensuring versatility for various applications.
