While the box may not work effectively for other applications, it could support a weight limit on your design, although caution must be taken not to exceed the maximum torque for the screws or shafts. The worm gear has a bore diameter of 6mm for the motor side, while the short axle at the opposite end has a bore diameter of 4.7mm.
