The STAUB Cast Iron Baby Wok is a tiny kitchen tool with a wide range of uses. It is made in France and is induction compatible. However, it is not coated with a non-stick coating. Although it can handle deep frying, it is not recommended because of its small size. Also, the wok may rust if not dried properly. Unfortunately, if a replacement lid is needed, Staub does not sell individual glass lids. Despite these limitations, the Baby Wok is a great tool for a single serving or small side dish. The cast iron keeps the food warm for a long time and it is great for steaming veggies, sautés, or sauces. Buttering the pan and heating rice in it with toppings and a fried egg can create a gourmet one-pot meal.
