Monteverde USA Ink with ITF Technology is a lubricated ink with a 30 ml bottle size. The ink comes in a wide range of colors, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. The ink writes smooth and silky, leaving a beautiful color on the paper. It dries a little lighter than the label, but not enough to be unrecognizable. However, some customers have reported that the ink made a thicker line on the paper, particularly in fine nib pens. This made the ink ghost through to the back of the page. Also, the color was a bit disappointing and dark purple, not true to the gemstone colors it is purported to mimic. In general, the lubrication in the ink does make for smooth, easy writing and Monteverde do have a line of permanent document inks that are waterproof.
