The recording spaces in this book are slightly less than 1/4" and have a height of 1/5". This book is designed for 11 or 12 week marking periods and has the availability of 40 student names. The pages are of a thicker material, but not a hardcover. The record book does show some signs of wear and tear after two years of use, however, is still completely functional. Customer feedback on this product has been mixed. Some customers are pleased with the book and have been using it for years, while others have found the columns too small and had difficulty writing in it. One customer suggested that the lines were too small to write in and never used it. Another customer felt that the record-keeping area was tiny, and their eyesight was not good enough to use it.
