The Peavey Rage 258 Guitar Combo Amp is a small yet powerful product. It has an 8" super-duty Blue Marvel speaker, stereo RCA input and delivers a clean and flat signal to be adjusted from the controller board. The amp can be used with an acoustic electric and also sounds good with a multi-effects pedal. However, there is no reverb dial, and that may be a downside for some. The reviews of this product indicate that it has surprisingly great sound for its size, is ideal for practice, and has excellent sound quality for a lower price in a non-tube product. Customers found the speaker better sounding than any 10" speaker combos out there. One criticism is that it pales compared to a TC-35 Gorilla but is superior in every other way.
