The Melissa & Doug Bear Family Dress-Up Puzzle is a wooden puzzle that comes with different outfits for each of the three bears. The puzzle is recommended for children aged 2-5 years and is not magnetic, it requires children to fit the wooden puzzle pieces in the spaces provided on the board. The puzzle is durable and made of real wood. There are several outfits per character, but a child needs to figure out which clothes fit which bear. The puzzle is a fun activity that children can do alone and can be entertained for a while. The puzzle helps children learn different facial expressions than body parts and clothes. The set comes with Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Baby Bear, and is not compatible with the single bear dress-up set. Mama Bear wears only dresses/skirts, and each character's clothes fit only on that bear, so clothes cannot be shared between bears. The puzzle has a slide-out top, storing all the outfit pieces. The puzzle does break easily, and there are no replacement pieces. The puzzle was a big hit for a 22-month-old child who was learning different facial expressions and outfits. It was loved by a 3-year-old and by a daughter who loves teddy bears. However, a 2 1/2-year-old child was not interested for very long, which was disappointing for the parent. One individual finds the product overpriced compared to other puzzle sets.
