Answer: The piece that attaches to the car is 3.25 in and the suction cup that attaches to that piece is 3 in. -

Answer: Yes, it will and does accommodate the iPhone 6. The only thing is sticking to the dashboard isn't the best. I do like it though. -

Does the mounting disk ruin your dash when you remove it?
Answer: As for it damaging the dash of your car, it does use 3M adhesive. Most likely this can be removed with cleaners, but I would think discoloration from the sun would be noticeable over time. Wish I could give you a definite answer, but there are so many different circumstances and materials to know for sure. I personally would use the window suction cup. -

Answer: Yes, it works well and fits the iPhone 12 Pro & 12 Pro Max! -

Due to this not being a ball/socket mount, will this work with a Jeep Wrangler windshield mount?
Answer: I am not totally sure I understand the question. But the mount does have a ball/socket right behind the part that holds the phone, so it moves around some. My opinion would be that this would work being mounted on a Jeep Wrangler's windshield. -
Question:
Does the suction cup get all sticky and gooey on a hot windshield? My other Arkon had a sticky suction cup that would end up tearing apart.
Answer: No, the suction cup is really good. It's been on my windshield unmoved for almost 2 months now. The 3M disk though, that will not stick very well. Mine came off after a half day's use. I even gave it 48 hours to set. -
Question:
How deep are the side arms on this? I have an iPhone 6 with a thick case that holds my driver's license and debit cards, so it's about 3/4' thick.
Answer: I have an iPhone 6 with an Incipio Stashback/Stowaway case that holds 3 cards. It's not quite 3/4' thick, but it's close, and this thing holds on to it just fine. Hope that helps!
